Master Thesis

The allocation of Master Theses is managed directly by the Chair of Business Taxation. Please notice the following requirements:

If you want to apply for a Master Thesis, send us your application in time and solely per e-mail (steuer(at)wiso.uni-koeln.de)

Please attach the following PDF-files:

  •            CV
  •            Bachelor's Certificate including Grades
  •            Latest Transcript of Records of your Master's Degree
  •            A List of Courses you participated in at the Chair of Business Taxation
  •            Proposal of two rough topics

Please comprehend that due limited mentoring capacity we prefer students who participated in the "Hauptseminar" and other courses of the Chair of Business Taxation.

You have a total of 6 month to complete your Master Thesis. You can start working on it at four diffrent times a year. Registration is possible by June 15th, September 15th, December 15th and March 15th. The '6 month' start about 4-5 weeks later after finding a topic in a personal meeting with Prof. Overesch.
